I forgot I bought Wilds… I put 200-400+ hours in every game since the first PSP game, and I think I have 40 hours in Wilds.
I don’t know why… it just didn’t… do it for me? I still bought it, I guess. Maybe it’s worth revisiting. It performed fine on my computer, but I didn’t love how it didn’t have a hub world.

They added the hub world like a month after launch.

Huh. Maybe I check it out again.

Looking at it with the perspective that low effort gacha games and gambling drivel makes for tens of billions sales, it makes sense why investors see this as disappointing. I agree with you wholeheartedly, though. Be it 10 million or 10 billion in profits, it is crazy to see either of those as a “failure.” This whole era of business suits driving game development is insane

It certainly did sell faster than the previous ones.

Capcom has been putting out hit after hit for a decade and one “failed” game, that still sold 10 million copies, does that much damage.
The AAA market is ridiculous.
It’s not the AAA market, it’s the investors
Some day you’ll realize capitalism ruins everything it touches but until then you will blame everything else

As a start, maybe these Capcom fuckwads should stop forcing DRM into their games, including ones that were already released.
Can’t speak for other customers, but I’ve blacklisted them until they stop treating me like a criminal.
Ok so how do you propose that ‘ethical’ software devs prevent the release week bleed that piracy brings?
I mean, I am ALL FOR piracy and have been doing it for years, just it has a marked effect on first week sales
I also think DRM is the wrong answer, but I can’t think of any other answers so maybe you have some?

Investors demand number go up quickly, it’s what’s destroying our world

Like the other guy said, it has the Grand Hub now, and he difficulty has always made sense(we’ve gotten good over a couple/few games and it’s still only high rank) but I can assure you that two Arch Tempered apexes are a lot of fun. My friend and I got rekt by Uth Duna and it took is a good while on the second try, very rewarding.
Also it’s totally ok to feel Monster Huntered out. Borderlands 4 is coming out and while I have ungodly hours in the first two and enjoyed the third well enough, I’m playing Wonderlands right now and it’s just “pretty good” despite me knowing full well that objectively it’s got cool new mechanics, a good story line, replay potential, and all that other good stuff. Oh, I’m also holding out for a 50% or greater sale because Randy Pitchford is an asshole).

Only 477k sold in the last quarter, compared to over 10 million at launch, over a 95% drop in sales and already getting outsold by decade old Capcom games. Face it people, Wilds failed.
They need to do an Arkham Knight level of a fix on Wilds for PC to fix it. But I don’t really see them doing this.
